In my opinion, I think buying online would make me save more money, for I can compare prices and visit deals websites. I can check different websites manually to compare prices. Moreover, there are a lot of price comparison websites with search functions that make me easy to find the lowest price for the certain goods nowadays. For example, PriceBlink which is a free browser extension that automatically finds lower prices while I shop. Honey which is a free extension that compares every seller on Amazon and shows me the best price. The "Shopping" tab in Google Search lets me browse suggested products from countless retailers (prices are clearly marked) or set a price filter. It is obvious that buying online would make me save more money by comparing prices and visiting deals websites before buying something.
Besides, I think buying online would make me save more money, as I can get coupons online through buying the goods online. Coupon codes are a great way to shop and save money online. There are several ways to get coupons online. The first method to get coupons online is signing up to newsletters. Retailers often will reward me for subscribing with a coupon. Once I am on their mailing list, I will receive codes for other sales and seasonal discounts. I would like to suggest to you to consider setting up a separate email for your online shopping accounts and newsletter subscriptions, so your main inbox will not get flooded. The second method to get coupons online is using coupon browser extensions. When I add items to a shopping cart, these plugins automatically search for and apply any relevant coupon codes. They will also notify me if they find better offers on other online shops. Honey even lets me add items to a Drop List and pings me when they become discounted. The third method to get coupons is being strategic with the timing. More coupons are available during sales like Black Friday and Cyber Monday. These are also great opportunities for me to save money. It is obvious that buying online would make me save more money by getting coupons online.
Other than that, I think buying online would make me save more money, for I can save some money by leaving things in my shopping cart. This classic trick works well for items I do not need urgently. I usually go through my shopping list and select the “nice to haves” and other things that can wait. Once I have found an item online, I will open an account on the merchant’s website and add the product to my shopping cart. Now it is time to play the waiting game. Online stores usually have systems for encouraging me to finish my purchase. I will be sent email reminders, and ads for the product will probably start appearing on other websites I visit (this is called retargeting). I will hang in there and do not be fooled by attempts to create a sense of urgency, like “last chance!” or “only 1 item left in stock.” Many retailers will eventually offer a discount code for the item in my cart so that they can close the sale. It is obvious that buying online would make me save more money by leaving things in my shopping cart.
In conclusion, I think buying online would make me save more money. What do you think?
